The Kerala State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has issued a circular dated December 9, 2024, announcing significant modifications to the Social Science question paper structure for the upcoming SSLC examinations in March 2025. The changes aim to simplify the examination process and reduce the burden on students.

Key Changes in the Social Science Question Paper
1. Division into Two Parts:
The Social Science question paper will now be divided into Part A and Part B, each carrying 40 marks.
2. Part A – Compulsory Questions:
Includes questions from compulsory study units.
Students must answer all questions in this section.
3. Part B – Choice-Based Questions:
Contains questions from selective study units.
Students have the option to choose which questions to answer.
